ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Three high school basketball games in Dougherty County have been moved to Saturday since Dougherty County schools will be closed Friday for wintry weather.
Athletic director Johnny Seabrooks says the Worth County at Dougherty and Peach County at Westover games will be played at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The Peach County-Westover girls game will determine who will host the 1-AAA region tournament semifinals and finals.
The Cairo-Monroe game will start an hour earlier at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Monroe gym.

In the GISA, the chcampionship and consolation games of the region 3-A tournament at Fullington Academy in Pinehurst have been moved to Saturday.
The first game will start at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Officials with GISA regions 3-AAA and 3-AA say they will wait until early Friday before deciding whether to play as scheduled or push their tournaments back.
The 3-AAA tournament is scheduled to be played at Georgia Southwestern on Friday and the 3-AA at Darton College.
The GHSA has moved area wrestling tournaments to Monday and Tuesday due to weather.
