ALBANY, GA (WALB) – South Georgia could get more snow tomorrow than we've had in decades.

We have home video WALB News 10 Photographer Carlton Christian and his family shot back on February 9th, 1973 when he was only 11-years old. Albany got three inches of snow then, but other areas got more.

His pony Blaze and dog Lassie enjoyed snow. Carlton and his brother had plenty of fun too. He even took aim at his mom throwing snow balls.

Not everyone got this much snow though. Pamela Jackson lived in Baker County. She only remembers a few flurries. She said, "It's a beautiful sight from the inside. I don't foresee being out playing in it if we ever get any. I think it's a beautiful sight. It's wonderful to look at."

Colie Young said, "I'm from New York, so I've seen 18 inches, 20inches and it is nightmarish, obviously we don't get that kind of snow here in Southwest Georgia, but it's a hazard when you have to drive in it whether it's a light snow or not."
