ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Downtown Albany is now home to a new coffee shop that hopes for the same success it had in northwest Albany.

Element's Coffee opened its newest spot Tuesday on North Jackson Street in the old Brown Bean location.

The original shop is on Ledo Road.

Co-owner Calvin King hopes his business attracts a lot of customers downtown.

"This is downtown Albany. There are a lot of business workers here. There's a lot of potential for a small business. Everybody needs caffeine. So we decided this would be a great opportunity to bring Elements and our name to a much larger community of Albany," said King.

Elements is opened from 7 to 7 Monday through Thursday and 7 to 11 Friday and Saturday.

They serve breakfast foods and lunch items and plan to offer Wi-Fi soon.
