PENSACOLA, FL (WALB) - The Valdosta State basketball teams continue to dominate the Gulf South Conference eastern division.
Tyrone Curnell scored 30 points in the Blazers 83-73 win at West Florida.
Curnell also set a school record by hitting all 16 free throw attempts.
The Blazers have won 14 straight and are 7-0 and 22-2 overall.
Their next game is next Thursday at West Alabama.
The Lady Blazers won their 10th straight with a 67-49 win over the Lady Argonauts.
Michelle Thompson led the VSU women with 17 points and reached the 1,000 career point mark in the game.
The Lady Blazers are 14-7 and 6-0 in the Gulf South and are out of conference Saturday at St. Leo.
