ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After jumping out to a big lead, Valdosta State had to rally beat Georgia Southwestern in baseball Wednesday 13-9.
The Blazers took a 6-0 lead but the Canes rallied with five runs in the fifth to take a one run lead.
Valdosta State tied the game in the bottom of the half and then scored four runs in the seventh.
Clayton Cain had a single, two doubles and a triple to lead the offense for VSU who is now 2-2.
GSW falls to 2-1.
