CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Crisp County High School has a new head football coach.
The Board of Education approved the hiring of Brantley High head coach Sean Pender on Tuesday night.
Pender was 35-46 in eight seasons with the Blue Herons.
Crisp County hired Pender after Bobby Johns from Baker County Florida turned down the job last month.
Pender takes over for Tommy Walburn who is now the head coach at Northgate High in Coweta County.
