ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Darton freshman Shaylia Jester has been named the Georgia Junior College women's player of the week.
The former Terrell County Lady Greenwave scored a career high 30 points in Saturday's loss to Georgia Perimeter.
Jester also had 14 rebounds.
That performance came after Jester scored 10 points and pulled down five rebounds in a win over Atlanta Metro last Tuesday.
The Darton women have lost three of their last four and will host Andrew College at 5-30 Thursday afternoon.
