ALBANY, GA (WALB) – WALB News 10 has learned that a state audit questions the integrity of Dougherty County Schools Criterion Referenced Competency Test results.
The Governor's Office of Student Achievement will present its findings to the State School Board in Atlanta Wednesday.
There are questions about corrections made on individual tests which were given to students in First through 8th grades.
Specifically, they cite the number of answers that had been erased and changed on the tests.
The governor's office has stopped short of saying there was cheating, but they're calling for changes in the way the CRCT's are administered.
We're continuing to follow this story, and will have more tonight on WALB News 10 at 6.
