Wanted Valdosta suspect captured in Virginia - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

A man wanted in the shooting of his daughter and her mother, was captured at 4am Tuesday by Chesterfield, VA authorities.

Valdosta police say 38-year-old Roy Smith shot 16-year-old Rochelle Smith and 37-year-old Josephine Lonon at their Branch Point Drive home Monday morning.

A nationwide hunt for Smith had been underway since he left the scene.
