ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A gun show in Albany attracted thousands of people and raised money for a local charity this weekend.
The gun show brought more than 2,000 people to the Hasan Shrine Temple in Albany. Venders sold other weapons including home made knives, electronic gadgets, and knife sharpeners.
This is the first year the gun show has hosted an event in Albany. Several opponents of Georgia's gun law attended the event.
"Several other people at the show are Second Amendment supporters as well and there are a lot of people who are concerned about it right now during the current political climate," said Gun Show Director Randall McGinnis.
Gun prices ranged from $300 to $2,000. A boat and ATV show will be held at the Hasan Temple in June.
