Sylvester native Sonny Skinner fired a 6 under 66 today in the second round of the Michelob Light Classic at Stonebridge Country Club to jump into a four way tie for first place at 11 under par.
Skinner, who's playing in his first ever NGA Hooters Tour event under a sponsor's exemption, shares the lead with Bryant Odom (67, 66), Mike Connell (69,64) and the 1989 U.S. Amateur Champion Chris Patton (68,65).
Albany native Josh Broadaway is currently tied for 17th at 8 under par after managing a 1 under 71 today. Moultrie native's Kevin and Andy Blanton are also tied for 17 at 8 under par.
Round three will begin Sunday morning at 7:00, followed immediately by the final 18 holes. The total purse for the Michelob Light Classic is $20,000.
