ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A new place to grab a quick bite to eat in Albany is creating new jobs in this tough economy.
Zaxby's is gearing up to open its third restaurant here on Monday. Friday, the owners and management treated some Z-I-Ps, that's Zaxby's Important People.
From noon until two, they served free food to dozens of people. If Friday's preview is any indication, the district manager expects business to be good. District Manager George Houston said, "We're excited. We're hoping that this will be the start of many good things for us here in this part of Albany."
Zaxby's on North Slappey near Dawson Road opens for business on Monday.
