Mitchell County- Victims of Thursday morning's deadly tornado in Mitchell and Worth flock to the America Red Cross for help.

|Many people are in need of food and clothing for their family, after the tornado literally destroyed everything they owned. Each victim's situation is assessed by the Red Cross and amount of assistance is given on a case by case basis.

Mitchell and Worth County tornado victims can also sign up for assistance at the Disaster Recovery Center on the fourth Floor of the Camilla City Hall. The DRC is open from 8-8p.m.

The Donated Goods Center is still in need of items for victims, like water, hygiene products and cleaning items. If you want to donate items, call (229)336-3098. If you want to volunteer to clean up, call (229)336-5255.
