Rams lose another winning streak

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  The Albany State Rams had their three game winning streak at the HPER Gym snapped by Stillman 81-78 on Thursday.

The Rams shot 52% from the field in the first half and led 41-38.

Lajay Sears led Stillman with 20 points and Brandon Sims was Albany State's leading scorer with 18 points.

Albany State cooled off in the second half and the Tigers took advantage to run their SIAC record to 9-7.

Albany State falls to 8-8 in the conference.

The Lady Rams have won three of four with an 84-80 double overtime victory over the Stillman Lady Tigers.

 Callie Hamilton had 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Rams who are 6-9 in the SIAC.

Albany State will host Tuskegee in a doubleheader starting with the women's game at 1:00 p.m. at the HPER Gym Saturday.
