VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –If you dream of owning a home, a resource fair this weekend in Valdosta could help you realize that dream.

Valdosta High's Class of 1976, Housing Resource Solutions, and agencies around the community are putting on a housing fair this Saturday.

The free event will provide information on affordable rental housing, credit repair, the home buying process, and foreclosure prevention.

"Right now I think it's a buyer's market especially because of the incentives available, the $8,000 tax credit, the first time homebuyer down payment assistance program so the opportunities are endless," said Housing Resource Solutions owner Kelley Thomas.

The housing fair is at Pinevale Learning Center on Lake Park Road Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
