ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A packed house inside the Albany Civic Center enjoyed the Greatest Show on Earth Tuesday night.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is in town for a couple days.

Before the big show, kids got up close and personal with a giant elephant and a mini horse and got to meet amazing acrobats and an illusionist.  You can do the same at the pre-show Wednesday night.

Jordan Marks has come to the circus the past couple years to celebrate his birthday.

"I get to see people do tricks. And I see animals," said Jordan Marks.

Bernetta Quimbley said, "They always get so excited every time they hear about the circus. It always comes around the same time, which is my youngest son's birthday, so this is always a birthday present for him."

Wednesday night's show starts at 7 o'clock.

The pre-show begins at 6 o'clock.  That's when you can go on the floor to see the animals and meet the performers.

Tickets are still available at the Civic Center box office for $17 to $32.
