MELBOURNE, FL (WALB) - After their season opener was rained out Monday, the Valdosta State baseball team planned to play two against Florida Tech on Thursday.
The two teams barely got five innings in with the Blazers falling 5-0 in a game that was stopped in the middle of the fifth.
Florida Tech scored all of their runs in the third.
The Blazers managed only one hit.
Valdosta State plays their home opener at 6:00 p.m. Friday against St. Leo against Billy Grant Field.
