Lakeland - If he could have one wish, four-year-old Ethan Fricke knows just what it would be. "I wish to go to Disney World and meet Goofy," said Fricke.

In less than 2 weeks, that wish will come true through the Make a Wish Foundation. Ethan has nuerofibrometosis, a disorder where several brain tumors cause problems with his vision. "He has been through so much," said Gina Fender, Ethan's Mother. "We have to go to Atlanta every week for treatment and it's such a burden for a little boy so he really deserves this."

The whole community is helping grant this special boy's wish. Friday, the Lanier County school system honored him at a special pep rally and gave him a special gift for his trip. "Ethan is such a special boy and we just want to do whatever we can to help him and his family make a memory he'll always remember," said Kristie Russ, Teacher.

Besides meeting his favorite Disney character, Goofy, Ethan already has a long list of things he wants to see at the park. "Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Nickelodeon stuff, and Santa Claus," said Fricke.

This will be Ethan's first trip to Disney World. His family leaves for their wish trip March 31st.
