MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) –  About  3:00 Monday afternoon, a man shot and killed a woman, and then killed himself at Universal Forest products, on Industrial Blvd. in Moultrie.

Deputies say when they arrived on the scene,  they found a Hispanic man and woman dead from gunshot wounds.

We now know the two who were killed both worked at Universal Forest Products in Moultrie, and were on the job when the shooting happened.

Employees found the bodies of 29-year-old Cesar Augusta Ardiano Larios and 38-year-old Leticia Duran Carbajal in an warehouse office.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents and Colquitt County Sheriff's investigators interviewed witnesses as they worked to determine a connection between the two, and now say Larios had wanted to date Carbajal, but she had rejected his advances.

"Several people witnessed different parts of it. I'm not absolutely sure if anyone witnessed the actual shooting. As we complete our investigation we'll talk to folks to see if there was a history between these we don't know if there was at this time or not," said Captain Hal Suber, Colquitt County Sheriff's office.

Investigators had a Ford Expedition towed from the scene which belonged to the suspected shooter. Workers told investigators the woman who was killed was pregnant.

Investigators hope an autopsy will help determine that.
