ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Circus is in town. Monday, crews were busy setting up inside the Albany Civic Center.

More than 100 workers from Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey installed lights, speakers,  and signs for the big shows which start Tuesday night. The total set up takes about nine hours.

"Absolutely it's a lot of work and we have more than 45 people setting up just in one area," said Production Manager Jason Gibson. "Among other animals, we have elephants, lions, and birds to take care of which requires a lot of organization but we enjoy it very much."

Shows Tuesday and Wednesday start at 7:00 p.m. There is a pre-show at 6:00. People can meet some of the performers and try on costumes.
