The first round of the Michelob Light Classic at Stonebridge Country Club has been postponed till Friday. The already saturated course received two and a half more inches of rain Wednesday night, creating unplayable conditions for Thursday.
Because of the postponement, the NGA Hooters Tour event has been shortened from 72 to 54 holes. If there are no further weather delays there will be a cut after 36 holes are completed on Saturday.
This is the second year the event has been hampered by bad weather. Last year's tournament was cancelled because of constant rain and low temperatures.
