Fitzgerald-- The steeple of the recently rebuilt Arbor Baptist Church on Merrimac Road now dangles from the sanctuary building.

Although the church suffered some structural damage and their symbol of faith lies low to the ground, their spirits remain high.

“It's a building ya' know," says Rev. Lloyd Stembridge. "We can repair a building. Last night we went to war, so nobody was hurt. Buildings can be replaced. A war is going on so we feel very blessed. We feel like god was very good to us."

Rev. Stembridge is grateful for the community's efforts to help after this morning's disaster.
