MILLER COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Miller County Sheriff's deputies arrested eight people from Albany, including one juvenile, in a copper wire theft ring that spanned several counties.

The deputies caught four of the suspects red-handed by using surveillance cameras around 3:30 Tuesday morning.

Those suspects led deputies to four more people now charged in a series of thefts.

All eight suspects are charged with burglary and theft by taking. Some face additional counts and charges of criminal damage to property.

They'll likely be charged in other counties as well.
