ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State Rams showed they are comfortable in their own gym in their 72-63 win over Miles College Thursday night.
The Rams shot 48% from the field for the game including 56% in the second half.
Four Rams were in double figures led by Jamell Ellerbe's 12 points.
Truett O'Neal scored 12 while Oscar Morris and James Clark each had 11.
Albany State is now 7-9 and 7-6 in the SIAC.
Rams host Morehouse Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Rams were not as fortunate in a 57-42 loss to the Lady Bears of Miles.
The Rams shot just 26% from the field in their 14th loss of the season.
Nafeesha Frost led the Lady Rams with 16 points.
Albany State women are 4-14 and 4-9 and on the road Tuesday at Clark Atlanta.
