ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor's Bainbridge Career Center will sponsor a career and resource fair today for employers and job seekers in the area.
The event will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, from 1-4 p.m. at the Bainbridge/Decatur County Coliseum, located on Wheat Avenue in Bainbridge.
Workshops on resume presentation, interviewing, and career options, as well as job search and career assistance to veterans, will be available at the career and resource fair.
The event will feature about 40 employers. Some will be hiring, while others will be discussing possible future employment opportunities with the job seekers and other organizations will be providing educational and other resources.
Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings.
