DECATUR COUNTY, GA (WALB) – A Decatur County woman and her granddaughter were killed a little after noon Monday, in a crash on a south Georgia highway.

Troopers tell us 69-year-old Helen Dick stopped at a stop sign on State Road 310 outside of Brinson, then pulled in front of a commercial truck on U.S. Highway 84.

The truck slammed into the car's passenger side.

Dick and 11-year-old Ansley Trawick were killed.

The driver of the truck was injured.
