ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State basketball team's 5-6 record in the SIAC may not look that great.

Remember the old saying it is how you finish that counts.

The Golden Rams have a chance to make a big finish with eight of their final eleven games at home.

The home stretch starts Tuesday night against LeMoyne-Owen.

A team the Golden Rams lost in overtime in Memphis back in December.

Home court advantage could be a big difference for the Rams since two of their conference losses have been in overtime on the road.

Coach Cameron knows if his team takes care of business on at the HPER gym then the Golden Rams can bolt to the top of the SIAC standings.

Chris Cameron said. "If we can just come home and take care of our business like we are supposed to in front of our crowd and just have that support. That will position us where we want to be."

The women's game starts at 5:30 pm. Tuesday between Albany State and LeMoyne Owen at the HPER Gym.
