A Lowndes County man is behind bars after deputies uncovered nearly half a million dollars of marijuana.
ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A Dougherty County Commissioner wants you to pull your pants up. He says people who walk around with their underwear exposed are a disgrace to the community.
Jack Stone wants to make it illegal for people in public to wear sagging pants that expose their underwear or bare back sides.
Bainbridge and Hahira have similar laws on the books now. Stone says, "It's not right for people, good Christian people to have to ride up and down the streets and look at something like that. It's just vulgar. It's vulgar. It's vulgar. It's embarrassing to me."
Stone also wants a ban on texting while driving. He says he will support legislation that has been proposed in the General Assembly to ban the practice.
