ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Many of you responded to a call for help from Mission Change after we told you about the Albany-based charity earlier this week.

We were with volunteers Friday as they collected food, toiletries, and first aid supplies at SB&T bank in Albany.

They're encouraged by the outpouring of support.

They're organizing flights to deliver supplies to Haiti and evacuate people from the devastated country.

"It's been a tremendous outpouring of support in terms of supplies, and monetary donations for fuel for these planes," said David Blackwell, Mission Change Project Coordinator.
