ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A dedicated blood donor was rewarded for his commitment to giving the gift of life.  Will Sells is a regular donor to Phoebe Putney's blood drives.

Friday, the American Red Cross surprised him with two Delta Airlines round trip tickets.

Sells, who works as an athletic trainer, had his name entered in the raffle after donating between October and December.

He's not sure yet where he and his wife might go. "As long as there's a golf course nearby, we'll be alright, but somewhere warm for sure," he said.

Phoebe will hold their next blood drive February 17th in the hospital's solarium.

Sells says the tickets might be perfect for his 15th wedding anniversary.
