Bainbridge- A fully restored B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator stopped in Bainbridge for their Wings of Freedom tour.

There are only eight airworthy B-17's left and the B-24 is the only airworthy aircraft of its kind. One South Georgia veteran reflected on seeing the bomber he once piloted.

"It bring's back some memories but they're pretty faint. I can't remember much about it, but it does stir my loins like it makes me feel good to see one flying," says WWII veteran Jasper Davis.

Davis was a member of the 464th Bomb Group during World War II. He and his crew were shot down in a B-24 while carrying out a mission over Vienna, Austria.

The planes will be at the Industrial Air Park until Thursday.
