ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The time for applying is over and the interviews are about to begin in the search to find two head football coaches for Dougherty County High Schools.

Dougherty County School System Athletic Director Johnny Seabrooks says the review of applications for the openings at Dougherty and Albany High Schools are underway.

Seabrooks is wanting to schedule interviews for late next week in hopes to have two names to recommend to the school board for their February board meeting.

The Dougherty High job became open after Charles Flowers retired in November.

The Albany High job was officially open when Reginald Mitchell took the Sherwood Christian job last June.

Felton Williams was the Indians interim head coach last season.
