ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Thieves stole close to $7000 worth of electronic equipment from a small Dougherty County business overnight.

The owner isn't sure he can overcome the loss.

Thieves broke out both front doors at Hard Times Car Audio on South Westover Boulevard about 1:30.

They shattered several glass display cases, causing about $5000 in damage.

They also stole several high-end G-P-S systems and audio and visual equipment.

Store owner Brandon Snead said "We out here really just trying to make an honest living. The only thing I can really say is just trying to service. It really hurts me financially, because the economy is already bad. We are just trying to survive."

Snead says he has no plans to shut down his business right now.

He's working to improve security at the store.
