ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Someone broke into the Salvation Army chapel in Albany overnight. They didn't steal anything but did cause about $700 in damage.

Workers replaced four broken windows in the back of the chapel Tuesday.

Someone broke them, climbed inside and looked around, and then left. Sadly, Salvation Army officials think it burglar may be someone they've helped.

"This is how they act out," said Salvation Army Captain Douglas McClure. "And it really takes more out of programs that we can do to help more people."

If you have any information about the break-in, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 229-436-TIPS.
