ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Albany Police are asking for your help to find a car involved in a fatal hit and run late Saturday.

Investigators are looking for an older burgundy or red Toyota Corolla, with damage to the passenger side mirror.

66 year old Roosevelt Coley was hit while crossing Oglethorpe Boulevard to get onto Jefferson about 8 Saturday evening. Coley could not hear or speak, and  lived at the Hudson Malone Towers for nearly 15 years.

Police say two cars actually hit Coley and sped away, but Police say they are concentrating their search for a 1994 to 1997 red or burgundy Toyota Corolla, that has damage on the passenger door and mirror.

The second car is a dark S-U-V, either a Mercury Mountaineer or Ford Explorer.

If you have any information, call Albany Police at 431-2100, or CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
