ALBANY, GA (WALB) –In all, at least 40 people were arrested and 300 computers seized in what's called Operation Restore Hope.

One of the raids was at an apartment in the Greenbriar complex on Beattie Road in Albany, directly across the street from Deerfield Windsor lower school.

Dougherty County Police and NCIS were also involved in that raid.

The men who live in the apartment haven't been arrested, but officers seized their computers and other evidence.

Because both men work for contractors at MCLB Albany, they plan to look at their work computers as well.

Today's statewide child porn sweep is believed to be the nation's largest, with at least 90 targets.

The GBI says Georgia ranks 5th in the number of devices used to transmit or receive child pornography.
