Tift County will elect a commissioner Tuesday to replace J.R. Rowe. Rowe died last month just weeks after taking office. 

Five candidates are vying for the District 3 seat. Voters in El Dorado, Omega and Brookfield will cast their ballots between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.  Tuesday March 18th.

They can choose from former commissioners Margaret Carter and Hugh Webb and newcomers Randy Willis, Dan Spradley, and Wendell Ball.
