ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Dougherty County Deputies are still looking for a man who cut off his ankle monitor and disappeared.

29-year-old Derrick Thomas was awaiting trial on drug and aggravated assault charges when he removed the house arrest device and took off.

He was supposed to have been in court December 18th.

Thomas is charged with pulling a pistol on five people during a drug deal May 28th.
