ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  An Albany man and two teenage boys are charged with taking pictures of a 15-year-old girl who had sex with one of them.

21-year-old Austin Dowdell and the two 16-year-old boys are charged with sexual exploitation.

Investigators say the sex was consensual and the girl knew pictures were being taken, but charges were filed against the boys because the girl is only 15.

"We just feel like people take advantage of these younger kids, and they take advantage of these situations," said Dougherty County Police Capt. Jimmy Sexton.

The pictures were found in a house on Corn Avenue by police who were investigating another crime.
