ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Nine-year-old Jyquez Miller was taken to a hospital to be checked out, but he's okay.

Jyquez showed up at his house around 9:30 Wednesday morning. His re-appearance is as mysterious as his disappearance.

Searchers tell WALB News 10 that a passerby spotted him walking down a street, picked him up and took him to his house on Station Crossing Drive.

"It was over there by the school, there was a white man in a truck, and he was blowing at me," said Volunteer searcher Daphne Porter.

"He said, 'Come on, come on, we got him.' And I said 'You found him?' And he said, "Yeah, I found him.'"

"I said 'How'd you find him?' He said the child just walked up to him, and stated that he slept on the bench all night."

Police say they are searching for this man who brought Jyquez Miller home.

Investigators say they have not talked with Miller yet about what happened overnight, and where he was.
