ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  The search for a missing Lee County woman is being scaled back.

Only volunteers are now looking for 77-year old Fannie Corley and cold temperatures are hurting the effort. Corley was last seen Christmas Eve. The Lee County Sheriff's Office, cadaver dogs, and divers scoured Lake Chehaw looking for Corley after her car was found on the Jefferson Street Bridge over Lake Chehaw.

Authorities think Corley jumped into the lake. Officials say the colder the water temperature, the longer a body will remain submerged.
