
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Deividas Dulkys scored 17 points and
No. 18 Florida State coasted past Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 94-54 on
Monday night.
The Seminoles (13-2) hit a season-high 12 3-pointers, led by
Dulkys five, to win their seventh straight game.
Florida State took a 16-2 lead over the Islanders (5-8) less
than 4 minutes into the game. Dulkys had eight of those points,
including his first two 3-pointers. Florida State hit eight of 12
from beyond the arc in the first half and held the Islanders to 29
percent shooting for the game.
Chris Singleton scored 12 points for Florida State, hitting four
of five from 3-point range, while Luke Loucks and Jordan Demercy
each added 10 points.
Demond Watt led the Islanders with 19 points and 11 rebounds,
while Kevin Palmer scored 13 points.
