A young armed robber thought he picked an easy target in an east Albany neighborhood.  He was wrong.  A man in a wheelchair captured him.

18-year-old Terry Ryland Bryant is in the Dougherty County jail.

Police say he robbed 30-year-old Deidra McMillan as she walked to her car outside her Skylane Drive home shortly after one o'clock Monday morning.

36-year-Jerone Loren heard the commotion and came outside in his wheelchair.  The robber confronted him as well and went in the house with him for more money.  Loren grabbed the crook's gun away and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

Bryant is charged with two counts of armed robbery, burglary and cruelty to a child.
