ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Lady Blazers have a four and six record, and have lost two straight.
They also haven't played a game in over two weeks after a tournament in Washington was canceled because of snow.
VSU showed no rust early at home against Nova Southeastern. Alli Jones knocked down a three, followed by Leschelle Matthews driving for the layup.
Nova stayed close as Priscilla Perez hit a three for the visitors.
Kiley Hill's Lady Blazers kept going to the basket, as Sczeny Hartry made a great move for the layup, leading to the lady blazers' defense coming alive.
Lesschell Matthews got a steal, and Amanda Haven scored on a layup.
The VSU women were up eight at half, but Nova came back to win in the second half 67-59. The Lady Blazers are 4-7.
