ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Robbers fired shots as they held up an Albany motel guest Tuesday night.

60 year old Julio Matienzo of Miami said he was accosted by two men with guns outside his room at the Motel Six on Thornton Drive.

He says they took his wallet and when he yelled at them to give it back, they shot at him.

They missed and jumped into a small black SUV and took off.

No one's been arrested.
