One year later, Robby Pruitt has another job offer and this one he is not turning down.
Robby Pruitt today was named head coach at Warner Robins High School.
Pruitt was one of three finalists for the job.
The other two were Screven County and former Fitzgerald coach Mark Daniel who went to high school in Albany and Parkview defensive line coach Mark Whitley.
After winning seven state titles at two different schools in Florida, Robby Pruitt came to Fitzgerald in 2000.
That year the hurricanes went 13 and 2-losing to Swainsboro in the AAA state championship game.
In three seasons, Pruitt posted 33-6-1 record and won two region championships.
