ALBANY,  GA (WALB) – More items were recovered on the Apalachicola River Monday that are believed to have belonged to missing duck hunter John Slappey.

The 34-year old Albany man disappeared while duck hunting on Lake Seminole 8 days ago. Witnesses say his small floatation device slipped over the spillway at the the Jim Woodruff Dam.

Monday search crews found a hunting hood and more duck decoys. Cadaver dogs picked up a scent near the boat landing which is about a quarter of a mile from the Dam.

They'll resume Tuesday morning.
