Valdosta - Governor Sonny Perdue paid a visit to South Georgia Tuesday.

The governor held a town hall meeting at Valdosta State University. More than 100 students, professors, and members of the community came out for the "Talk with Me" tour.

They discussed important issues such as the state's budget, education, and health care. "I was very impressed with this group and their enthusiastic welcome," said Perdue. "I also appreciate the warm welcome I get every time I come to Valdosta."

Governor Perdue also held town meetings in Martinez and Columbus today.
