ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Moments ago, Judge Denise Marshall charged the two man, ten woman panel with the case.
Buie faces a total of 19 counts: two for concealing facts, two counts of conspiracy to defraud a political subdivision, six counts of theft by taking, and nine counts of false statements and writings for sending false e-mails and invoices to pay his wife and mistress Nicole Brown.
Assistant District Attorney Chris Cohilas and defense attorney Johnnie Graham spent much of the morning taking care of housekeeping items and preparing the charges for the jury.
The jury will deliberate until they reach a verdict.
