Bulldog basketball players recognized

ATHENS, GA (WALB) 

A pair of Georgia basketball players received awards from the SEC Monday.

Trey Thompkins is the men's player of the week after scoring 21 points, and grabbing seven rebounds in Georgia's win over Illinois.

Jasmine James was named the SEC freshman of the week after posting her first career double double in the Lady Bulldogs win over Virginia.
